Qualifications / skills :
• 3-4 years in similiar position in a five-star hotel
• Strong Sous Chef, ready for the next challange
• Good command of the English language spoken & written
• Degree in Culinary Art, Hotel Management or its equivalent
• Completed kitchen apprentice or chefs training courses for at least one year
Area of expertise :
• Oversees kitchen production of main kitchen, butchery and gardemanger
• Assist in menu writting & creating, costing, and staff scheduling
• Familiar with plating techniques, buffet & set menu arrangements
• Train and mentor all chefs in order to reach the required standards
• Ensure that HACCAP standard and local regulations are followed
• Understand food costs control and inventory management
• To meet guest expectations and contribute to the profitability of the hotel.
