1. Sous Chef
About the job
Accountable for overall success of the daily kitchen operations. Exhibits culinary talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff and managing all food related functions. Works to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget. Supervises all kitchen areas to ensure a consistent, highly product is produced. Responsible for guiding and developing staff including direct reports. Must ensure sanitation and food standards are achieved.
Qualification
• Domicile in Bali
• Max 40 years old
• University Degree or Diploma culinary arts, hotel, and restaurant management, or related major
• 5 years as cook in Banquet / Main / Pastry kitchen in hotel or individual restaurant with high standards
• Knowledge with cooking techniques such as boiling, frying, stewing, reduction, simmering, baking, soup making, and dry goods preparations
• Have a variety of pastry, chocolate, and bread making techniques
• A dynamic and creative individual who brings a vast and varied experience in culinary arts, menu design and food promotions
• Able to work with and consume all products and ingredients
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Able to set priorities and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Excellent leadership skills
• Knowledgeable in HACCP
• Good command in English, both verbal and written to meet business needs, preferred
• Able to join immediately
